A service of 9 lessons and carols takes place at the church of St John the Baptist, Kingscote on Tuesday 18th December at 7pm, and will be followed by drinks in the church.

Refurbished bells were installed on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. They are in place, but more work to be done at some future date to make them operational.

This morning at 6:30am a Phil Davies haulage vehicle (white lorry with blue writing) reversed down the lane from Binley Farm, and then proceeded to go back and forward until 7am trying to turn around. He was towing what is called in the trade a Bulker, a metal sided trailer. It was not possible to see the registration number.
The mismanaged vehicle manoeuvre has resulted in damage to the wall of the Village Hall.
The driver of the haulage company is denying he was in Kingscote and therefore we will be unable to claim insurance unless we can prove his presence in the village.
Does anyone in the village have CCTV which might be used to prove/disprove this? Please email Brian McTear with information.
