Kingscote Village Hall Background
The parish of Newington Bagpath with Kingscote is a community of around 250 people. It has no school, shop, Post Office. There is a pub with rooms (the Hunter’s Hall Inn) on the main road and the nearest shops are 5 miles away in either Dursley, Nailsworth or Tetbury and there is an occasional bus service.
However, the hub of the community has always been the Village Hall, which was given to the parish in 1953 and is now a Trust run by a committee on behalf of the Parish Council.
If you want to donate towards the running and maintenance of the Village Hall, please contact the treasurer Vivienne Ainsworth for Grant Aid forms etc. or click here to download the Village Hall Donation Form.
